Alvin graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a BSc (Hons) in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science. Alvin entered the profession in 2002, and joined Jenkins in 2006. The main focus of his work is in obtaining patents involving computer-related technologies, and he has a particular interest in computer-controlled systems and internet-based inventions. He handles work for both UK-based and international clients. His work for UK-based clients has included drafting patent applications in a variety of subject-matter areas, ranging from improved graphical user interfaces and media streaming technologies to fuel cell control systems and plug arrangements for electrical devices.
He is also a contributor to the European Patents Handbook.
Outside of work, Alvin enjoys tinkering with games programming, playing ice/roller hockey and cooking.
