Out and About

Stephen James has spoken at a number of conferences including the IBC and Eurolegal conferences held in April and May respectively in London during the past few months. In each case, the subject matter was the latest developments in OHIM practice. Copies of the slides for these talks are available on request.

 

ITMA Appointment

In April, Stephen James became Junior Vice President of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys, the professional body that is devoted exclusively to the development of trade mark law and practice in the UK. As Steve has become Junior Vice President at the age of 51, the venerable status of the Senior Vice President, not to mention the President, can only be imagined.

 

Exam Results

We are pleased to announce that our associate Isabel Moya passed the professional examinations set for prospective UK trade mark attorneys in a single sitting. This is an outstanding achievement, made all the more remarkable by the fact that Isabel has worked in the UK for only the past three years.
